Simoné Goldschmidt-Lechner is a writer and translator who has been writing in German and English since 2018. She is interested in online fandoms, (post-migration) horror stories, the language of video games, and linguistic experimentation in general.
From March 2019 to September 2021, Goldschmidt-Lechner was co-editor of the magazine BELLA triste. She was part of the artistic direction of the PROSANOVA 2020 festival, which focuses on contemporary German literature, and was responsible for communications and marketing. In 2021, she organized the online festival Futur 3.0. Since 2022, she has been involved in various theater, performance, and film projects. Additionally, Goldschmidt-Lechner is the publisher of the literary magazine processin*.
Goldschmidt-Lechner has received several grants and awards for her literary and interdisciplinary work, including the Schloss Solitude fellowship (2023/24).
