Fredrik Hertzberg’s biography of Gunnar Björling (1887–1960) sheds light on the life and work of the Finland-Swedish poet. Now, this important work is also available in Finnish. In this event, Fredrik Hertzberg will discuss the book and Björling’s poetry with the translators, Hannimari Heino and Juhani Ihanus. The conversation will be moderated by Miia Toivio.
The discussion will take place on Tuesday, August 19 at 5:30 PM on the Saarikoski Mat at Helsinki Central Library Oodi. Admission is free.
