Murskautuminen is an eruption from the depths of the earth. Ancient stone shatters into fragments. Relentless growth does not cease. Memories are dismantled like bombs. The fear of collapse pants at our heels. Beneath the surface, an untamed wildness ferments.
Murskautuminen is an expedition into nature that lives and breathes all around us.
The text of the performance is based on author Katri Naukaris debut novel Yhden puun tuho (2021), which blends essay and prose. The soundscape and video are designed by musician and photographer Janne Myllymäki.
