Saila Susiluoto (b. 1971) is a writer currently living in Perniö. She has published several poetry collections, a novel, an Antikythera iPad application, and the auditory artwork Oratorio. Susiluoto has received the Kalevi Jäntti Prize, the Finland Prize, and the Einari Vuorela Poetry Prize. Carmen was shortlisted for the Nordic Council Literature Prize in 2012. Her acclaimed poetry collection Akheron was published in 2024, followed by the poetry work Rituaali in 2025. Her most recent work, summerhill, was published in January 2026. Susiluoto’s poems have been translated into fifteen languages.
