A.V. Marraccini is an art critic, writer, and art historian. She currently serves as a critic-in-residence in the Integrated Design and Media department at NYU Tandon. She earned her PhD in art history from the University of Chicago in 2018.
Marraccini’s writing has been widely published in art and literary outlets, including Times Literary Supplement, BOMB, Cleveland Review of Books, New York Review of Architecture, Poetry Foundation, Spike Magazine, and Berlin Review.
Marraccini’s debut book, We the Parasites, was published in 2023 in the United States by Sublunary Editions and in the United Kingdom by Boiler House. Her next work, These New Fragilities, is scheduled for publication in 2028.
