Aatos Ketvel is a young singer-songwriter and spoken word poet from Helsinki, whose restless lyrics dance down the paths of the absurd, playfully toying with language along the way. His work is defined by a non-commercial ethos and a homespun aesthetic – raw, unframed music crafted between a guitar and a bedside table, following a do-it-yourself philosophy. His self-released debut album “Hedelmäasetelma” (Still Life with Fruit), published at the end of 2020, explores the fragility of the sensitive mind and the inevitable decay of fruit.
