Antonella Anedda (b. 1955), located in Rome, is one of the most central Italian contemporary poets. Anedda is an award winning, internationally known and established pet, who has published six collections of poems, essays, and translations. She has graduated from art history, and has since gotten her doctorate from Oxford University. Anedda has also been appointed the honorary doctorate in Université Sorbonne for her accomplishments in poetry. She teaches Italian literature at the University Italian Switzerland in Lugano.
