Elvīra Bloma (1986) studied Cultural Theory in the Culture Academy of Latvia and Theology in The Catholic Institute of Riga. She works in the museum of Rainis and Aspazija in Riga, edits books, manages projects and organises cultural events. She has also worked as a bartender. Bloma’s debut poetry collection Izdzēstie attēli (‘Deleted pictures’) was published in the beginning of this year.
She believes it is important to invent a state, or at least a city. She is interested in consciousness and the changes it undergoes in the modern world.
