Fredrik Hertzberg (b. 1966) is a Finnish non-fiction author and literary scholar. He is a docent of Nordic literature at the University of Helsinki. Hertzberg earned his PhD at the Department of English at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2001 and at the Department of Comparative Literature at Åbo Akademi University in 2003. In 2018, he published a biography of Gunnar Björling titled “Mitt språk är ej i orden.” Gunnar Björlings liv och verk (“My Language Is Not in the Words: The Life and Work of Gunnar Björling”)
