Jouni Tossavainen (b. 1958) is an author who was born in Tervo. He studied in Tampere, and has since lived mainly in Kuopio. His wide-ranging work, published beginning from 1985, includes both prose and poetry – 27 works combined. In addition to Taistelevat metsot, he has published the novel Pojan usko (Aviador 2021). After three works of prose his 14th poetry collection Näköala Haminavuorelle is a return to poetry after six years. Tossavainen will perform at the OFF-event.
