Kristiina Wallin is a poet wandering in the layers of language and gets lost and finds in words. She examines the possibilities of language and existence and looks for the crossing points between the conscious and unconscious and the truth and the imaginary. She has written six collections of poetry, Meduusameri (Tammi 2020) is the latest one. She has also written radio drama, fiction letters, a short film and most recently, a novel. The poems of Wallin have been translated to English, Italian, Albanian and Arabic. Her works have been nominated for the Runeberg prize, Einari Vuorela prize and the Tanssiva Karhu prize.
