Marie de Quatrebarbes is a writer and poet living in Paris. She has published several poetry collections and a novel called Aby inspired by art historian Aby Warburg. The poetry of de Quatrebarbes mixes autobiographic elements and diverse registers of language. The fragmented prose poems are interfered by speechlike passages and quotations. In addition to her writing Marie de Quatrebarbes co-manages the poetry and translation orientated magazine La tête et les cornes. She’s also editor of the anthology of young French female poets published in 2022, Madame tout le monde.
