Mukavalla asialla is an interactive work of art, where postmodern monologues are combined with a rhetoric game. In the artwork one can play as a telemarketer or a customer in either end of the telephone line using the traditional rhetoric knowledge of Aristotle: using ethos, pathos and logos.
The avant-garde work of art examines and breaks sense of situations and the usual roles and plays with them. What could a telemarketing call become, if the participants would surrender themselves around the usual? What could be revealed? Mukavalla asialla is an entertaining and humorous overview to the art of manipulation.
Work group: Hilkka Haaga, Lea Kalenius, Frida-Maria Pessi and Miia Seppänen.
