Polina Kopylova is a bilingual, “non-aligned” poet, journalist, translator, and interpreter originally from Saint Petersburg. She creates Finnish-language versions of her poems as a way to explore the boundaries of expression. In Russian, her poems have been published in Russia in literary journals such as Deti Ra and Novyi Mir, as well as in the anthology Novyi vremennik Kamery hranenija. In Finland, her work has appeared in Literarus. Some of her poems have also been published in Finnish in the Finnish-language edition of Literarus and in the journal Kirjailija.
