Riikka Simpura is a writer and a doctoral researcher in writing at the University of Jyväskylä. She co-authored an essay on the comfort and softness of poetry with Carlos Lievonen, Elina Sallinen, and Petra Vallila (Tuli & Savu 3/24), and has published the poetry collection Painottomuus (Weightlessness, 2022).
