Sanna Karlström (b.1975) is a writer based in Helsinki. She has published five poetry books. The first one, Taivaan mittakaava, was awarded the Helsingin Sanomat Literature Prize in 2004. The third poetry book, Harry Harlow’n rakkauselämät (2009) was awarded with both Tanssiva karhu Prize and Kalevi Jäntti Prize.
Karlström’s poems have been translated to ten languages. She has also written the novel Multaa sataa, Margaret (2017) and the children’s book Siilin laulu (2016), which was illustrated by Marika Maijala.
