Suvi Ratinen is a writer and Master of Philosophy, who for a long time worked at the literature archives of Suomalaisen Kirjallisuuden Seura. Ratinen participates in the Non-Fiction Book Panel with her book Omat huoneet – Missä naiset kirjoittivat vuosisata sitten (Tammi 2021). The book explains, what the rooms ten Finnish women writers wrote in about a hundred years ago were like. What did it mean for them to have or to not have a room of their own to write in? What kind of limitations did their era place on them?
