Join us for a literary walk exploring the environmental history of the Töölönlahti area, guided by poet and translator Pauli Tapio and museum educator Sauli Seppälä. The walk features poetic moments from Tapio’s work alongside snapshots of how the city’s landscapes have changed over time.
The themes of the walk also connect to the “Trash!” exhibition opened in April at the Helsinki City Museum, which explores what Helsinki’s waste has consisted of, where it has ended up, and how it has affected the environment.
