The surrealist Leonora Carrington (1917–2011) painted, sculpted, and wrote. For her, art was a three-dimensional space she moved through—something not to be tamed by reason. The monodialogue by Sinikka Vuola and Anna-Kaari Hakkarainen seeks to approach Carrington’s self-contained world through feeling and instinct—gently, by asking, conversing, and suggesting.
