What kind of text does the night produce?
Helsinki Poetry Connection’s interdisciplinary Poetry Jam invites you to the Night of the Arts and Poetry Moon! Expect a celebration of spoken word embraced by the night and shimmering in the moonlight at The House of Text’s Parvisali hall.
Featured guest performers include Veera & Senni and Susinukke Kosola. More acts will be announced! In between the featured performances, there will also be acts selected through an open call.
Do you have a poem, song, speech, or performance that fits the theme of NIGHT? The open mic application is now open!
Send your application by August 3rd to . In your message, briefly introduce yourself and describe the content and duration of your performance. Five performers will be selected, each with a 5–10 minute slot.
The event is produced and hosted by Vinski Valos and Sonja Kaisanlahti. Helsinki Poetry Connection organizes the event in collaboration with Nuoren Voiman Liitto, with the support of the City of Helsinki.
