The Multidisciplinary and international Literature Festival Runokuu / Poetry Moon delights poetry lovers in Helsinki and its surroundings from the Night of the Arts onwards, starting on 15th of August 2024. The festival culminates in a four-day closing ceremony held at the House of Texts from Thursday to Sunday, 22nd to 25th of August 2024. This year’s theme for the festival is bond: how poetry binds us and others together, how a poem engages with other arts, different ways of knowing, and the rest of society. Runokuu is organized by the Nuoren Voiman Liitto in collaboration with a number of partners.
