Iona Carmine Roisin (they/them) is an English artist and poet based in Helsinki since 2015. Working across moving image and text, their practice is interested in ways of making, difficulty, intimacy, failure and the insufficiency of language. Their writing is published in The Rialto, The London Magazine, Tuli&Savu, Propel Magazine, Fourteen Poems, Dyke Affair, Stone of Madness, and Impossible Archetype among others. In 2024 they won the Guernsey International Poetry Prize, judged by Paul Muldoon. They are a co-founder of Trans Library Helsinki.
