Maiju Pohjola is a poet and teacher living in Hamina. She frequently writes about interpersonal dynamics and hidden violence. Pohjola has published three poetry collections. Her newest collection Sivusta katso ja (Aviador 2026) combines poetry, drama and prose reflecting bystandership and participation in school violence.
