Welcome to the opening of The Poetry Moon festival on the Night of the Arts, August 20, at 5 PM in the Parvisali hall at Tekstin talo. The opening programme features Runokimara and Helsinki Poetry Connection’s Poetry Jam.
Runokimara presents the poetry harvest of 2026. The programme includes a reading showcase from eight highly anticipated poetry collections.
This year’s Runokimara features Matilda Kirvelä (Yksityiskohdattomuuksia, Kaarna kustannus), Maiju Pohjola (Sivusta katso ja, Aviador), Petra Vallila (kaiken, Poesia), Mikko Räty (Kaikki putoava, Tammi), Virpi Vairinen (Fannyn metsä, Poesia), Markku Paasonen (Rikospaikka / Ilmestyskirja, Teos), Miira Luhtavaara (Kalat kulkevat lintuina, Teos), and Atte Koskinen (Ääri, WSOY).
