Reetta Pekkanen is a poet based in Turku who has published the poetry collections Pieniä kovia nuppuja (2014), Kärhi (2019), Katkaistut tulppaanit (2023), as well as the procedural poetry chapbook Salakuljetuksia (2021). In her poetry, Pekkanen focuses particularly on the relationships between language, meaning, and non-human agency. She was selected for the University of Iowa’s International Writing Program in 2023.
