Virpi Vairinen (b. 1986) is a poet and writer based in Turku. Fannyn metsä (2026, Poesia) is her sixth poetry collection.
Vairinen has worked in the field of poetry as the editor-in-chief of the poetry website Nokturno and at the Poesia cooperative, among other roles. Her works have been nominated for the Tanssiva karhu and Nihil Interit prizes, and in 2020 she was awarded the Silja Hiidenheimo Memorial Grant. www.virpivairinen.com
