The literary evening will be dedicated to Lithuanian literature and, more specifically, to the presentation of Vilnius Review.
Founded in 1988, The Vilnius Review is an English-language journal of Lithuanian literature in translation. The magazine can be read at vilniusreview.com.
The event will feature the following writers: Marius Burokas, Austėja Jakas, Ieva Toleikytė and Saulius Vasiliauskas.
Marius Burokas (b. 1977) is a poet and a translator.
Austėja Jakas (b. 1994) is a graphic designer and a poet.
Ieva Toleikytė (b. 1989) translates books and films, writes poetry and works at an independent bookstore.
Saulius Vasiliauskas (b. 1989) is a writer and literary scholar. He is the editor-in-chief of the Vilnius Review.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Lithuanian Cultural Attaché in Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
