The Poets’ Sounds come from a no-man’s land that knows no borders. They are literature and music combined; they don’t just switch from one language to another in the same breath, but reinvent language itself.
In the multidiciplinary project six poets from all around Europe, together with the Cologne-based speech art trio sprechbohrer, make a new kind of art that mixes the boundaries of sound, poetry and music. Before the Poets’ Sounds performance, there will be a discussion where artists share their thoughts and experiences of working on the project.
Morten Søndergaard (DK), Miia Toivio (FI) and Eduard Escoffet (ES) discuss. Florian Neuner (DE) hosts.
Free entry.
