The Club of Experimental Literature is a new series of literary events organised by Nuoren Voiman Liitto. The event consists of an in-depth discussion about, new performances and alternative voices in the field of literature. At the club, literature encounters many different ways of presentation.
Experimentality can be understood in many ways: as a trying of literary genres, affects, the identities of a literary work, the author, the readers or characters.
The second club will take place in Tiivistämö on August 26th starting at 7 p.m. The club features J.P. Sipilä‘s video poetry, Minna-Kaisa Kallinen‘s performance, and a discussion with Tiina Lehikoinen and Maarit Mustonen. The loose theme of the evening is to explore the relationship between image and writing.
The entrance fee is 4 euros for NVL members and 5 euros for others. This second club is curated by writers Maria Matinmikko and Taneli Viljanen, who will also host the evening. The event will be streamed online.
The event is in Finnish.
The safe number of participants for the event will be announced in August.
In collaboration with Tiivistämö.
