Thank you to all performers, visitors and collaborators for a wonderful Poetry Moon festival!
After two years of the pandemic we finally got to celebrate Poetry Moon live together, and during the festival week in the late August heat Poetry Moon reached a large crowd of poetry enthusiasts at Tiivistämö. Our events ranged from glitch feminism to a speech art concert and from poetic performances to a multi-language evening club.
This year we also succesfully launched Poetry Moon OFF, a new programme section where the Finnish literary scene was able to organise unique events as part of the festival. On the OFF stage at Rosebud Sivullinen we saw for example many interviews and readings, a feisty nonfiction jury and an ecopoetic lamentation.
We hope you enjoyed the festival week as much as we did, and we welcome you back next year!
