Aatos Ketvel is a young singer-songwriter-stage poet from Helsinki, whose restless lyrics dance along the paths of absurdity. Their work is defined by homespun aesthetics and uncommercial ethos. When writing, Ketvel covets and strips bare, on the stage they defecate and forget, poems away from binaries and beyond sex. Nifty rap influences and self-ironic declarative reciting take sincerity as hostage in Ketvel’s performing styles.
